Work in Progress

So I've been wanting to try to do one of the contest from Creative Allies website for a bit now. CD covers were actually some of the first "complete" work I did when I was learning Adobe suite of tools so it's only natural that I picked that as my first assignment. Several sources of inspiration for this one.

Took this long to get this post up cause I had to keep switching ideas over and over and over. Finally settled on one and am was going at it when I remembered today was the day I needed to put a new post up. So for this one I'm going to show you the beginning of my work. Hope to be finished by Saturday.

So my buddies Loser and Confused have their own blogs, that's partly why I started this one. Confused suggested I start one for my artwork, and seeing how I have been slacking off in that department since I've been searching for work I decided it be a good idea to do so since it will keep me occupied (and sane) while I seek gainful employment. So as a nod to them I crafted 2 banners for their blogs. Confused guy I made in photoshop, lots of double entendres there and I like how it turned out. I made one for Loser previous but it was awful, something like a kid had made with windows paintbrush so I flex my meager Illustrator skills and put one together in there and like this one much better.
